Secure Merchant Manual Processing
If you are a physical storefront already capable of credit card processing, designtion can set up a simple system to securely submit customer credit card information to you to process transactions manually. It is a very quick process to set up a form to sell gift certificates or products one at a time, or we can set up a custom or third party shopping cart for you. Using this method, customers buy the products from your site automatically, but you process the transaction and ship the item manually.
To securely transmit the customer data, we’ve written an application that processes the customer data and checks for errors, and then splits the credit card number into two parts, emails you the first part, and stores the second part in a secure database that only you can access. That way, the card number is never stored in full in any one place. If you are not using a third party shopping cart, you must purchase a secure certificate that uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and optionally GPG encryption to send the customer financial data securely.

Digital Content Ecommerce
If you have digital content that you would like to sell, such as original video, music, pictures, writing, tutorials, or other information, Designtion can protect that data and sell it for you. Using Paypal Website Payments Standard (free) with Instant Payment Notification (free), or Paypal Website Payments Pro, the user can only access your content after they have paid for it. We have written an application that will generate a username and password for your customer to access the protected directory only after Paypal notifies it that the customer has paid for it. Paypal Website Payments Standard
Designtion can integrate Paypal Website Payments Standard to your site to process credit card transactions for products, donations, subscriptions, and recurring payments. Paypal Website Payments Standard is a free (fees are transaction based, not monthly), offsite solution that does not require a shopping cart or secure certificate.
Designtion can manually or dynamically (for database driven sites) produce “buy now” buttons for each of your products or bundles of products.
Paypal Website Payments Pro
Designtion can integrate Paypal Website Payments Pro to your site, to process credit card transactions without ever requiring your customer to leave the site. While paypal is a well-known and trusted brand, Website Payments Pro produces a professional and seamless user experience.
Paypal Website Payments Pro costs an additional $20 / month (paid to paypal), and requires a secure SSL certificate and Designtion Shopping Cart. Paypal Website Payments Pro also has its own stipulations, such as displaying the paypal logo and giving the user the option to log into paypal at checkout. Paypal Website Payments Pro has an application and approval process.
Designtion Shopping Cart
Designtion can design you a custom shopping cart that maintains the look and feel of your site and never requires the user to leave your site. Shipping and Handling can be calculated based on item quantity, total item weight, shipping distance, shipping method, and item size. Taxes can be calculated and adjusted to whether the customer is in state / out of state. The user can add, subtract, remove, and empty items from their cart. Once the total is calculated, the transaction can be sent to you with Secure Merchant Manual Processing, sent to Paypal Website Payments Standard for completion, or processed on the spot using Paypal Website Payments Pro or Payment Resources International.
